A lovely couple from New York, USA.
They are enjoying the deep side of Okinawa♪
They are staying in Uruma City♪
So we welcomed them to the inn early in the morning and let’s surf♪
They tried surfing in Okinawa for the first time (^^)
Both of them caught very good waves♪
The place they are staying is an inn called HIBIKIYA in Uruma City.
When I asked them why they chose it…
They said it was because they thought they could experience Okinawan culture.
In Okinawa, Buddhist altars have been placed in homes since ancient times.
In old houses, the Buddhist altars are still there, so you can spend precious time experiencing Okinawan culture.
HIBIKIYA is one of them.
It is an old house built decades ago using wood unique to Okinawa.
You will surely be able to experience the deep side of Okinawa that not everyone can experience~🌺
