波に乗るスキルがあれば波のサイズは関係なくどんなコンディションでも楽しんでいただいている、楽しむスキルが身体に染みついている、そう感じています。
この小さいな波、乗ってみると力強い波、追いかけて乗ってみないとわからない自然の力。
経験をせずに自分の物差しで測り、結果を出してはしまっては勿体ないです。

What standard should we use to determine whether conditions qualify as “small waves”?
What constitutes a sufficient wave size for one person might be considered very small by another.
I have met many surfers and experienced a wide variety of conditions over the years.
I have come to feel that for those with the skills to ride, wave size doesn’t matter; they enjoy themselves regardless of the conditions—the ability to find joy in the moment is simply second nature to them.
These waves may look small, but once you ride them, you discover they are powerful—a force of nature you can only truly understand by chasing and riding them.
It would be a shame to pass judgment based solely on your own preconceptions without actually experiencing it for yourself.
