アウターリーフとは
砂地からエントリーをして、サンゴ礁を超えた水平線側に波がぶれいくしているところを指します。
沖縄では内海、外海と二つの異なる特徴を持つ海岸で波乗りをすることができます。
『モアナ』を見たことがあるのならばきっと『アウターリーフ』の特別さがわかるかと思います。
サンゴ礁を越えた向こう側の地形には力強い波が待っています。
実は条件を揃えれば初心者さんでも安全に遊ぶことができる波なんです。
けれどこの条件を知らずして挑むこと、これはとても危険です。
沖縄の海底の地形はサンド(砂地)と違いとても特別な地形。
