沖縄では満潮時間を利用してサーフィン を行います。
普段の日常生活ではあまり気にしない潮の潮位のお話です。
潮の潮位は曲線で表すことができ、その潮の満ち引きの水を点と点で結び合わせると正弦曲線となります。
ゼロまたはマイナスを超える点、すなわち干潮時間から水位が最も高くなる満潮時間の点。低潮と高潮の間に起こる潮位変化を結びつけてくと波を打つような曲線になることがわかります。
サーファーはよく潮位グラフを使用してサーフィンを行うんですね。
こらは月の引力にも関係しているもので毎日毎日変わるもの。
自然がもたらす美しい現象です。
毎日風向きが変わるように、毎日天気が変わるように、水位もその日その時で全く違います。
そんな自然の現象を理解してサーフィンをすること、知らずと海や自然との融合感じる、なんだかその瞬間を尊く感じることでしょう。

The point where the tide exceeds zero or negative, that is, the point at low tide to the point at high tide when the water level is highest, is the point. When you connect the tidal level changes that occur between low tide and high tide, you can see that the curve resembles an undulating wave.
