サーフショップさんの波情報更新を待ったり、知り合いがどこかのポイントをチェックし情報をもらったり、、、、コミュニティは欠かせません。
前日からの波の様子、そしてサーフィンをする前の波の様子を見極めてセレクトすることがおおいです。とくにサーフガイドの依頼があれば普段よりも的確に波を当てることができるように事前に数時間ほど波探しをします。

とくに旅先でのサーフィンは贅沢な時間にしたいですよね。

I wait for updates from surf shops, or get information from friends who check out certain spots… communities are essential.
I often select a spot based on the wave conditions from the day before and before I go surfing. Especially when a surf guide requests it, I’ll spend several hours searching for waves in advance to ensure I can hit the waves more accurately than usual.
For visiting surfers, onshore reef breaks are a no-no.
Surfing, especially when traveling, is something I want to enjoy in luxury.
