大きな波にばかりチャージしているとどうしてもテイクオフの瞬間にためらいがでてしまい ボードに膝をつけてしまったり、タイミングが疎かになり遅れてしまったり、怖くて立てなくなってしまったり… 沖縄のリーフブレイクはとても力強いためタイミングが重要視されます。 そのタイミングのコツを何度も反復できること、今のスキルに合う波選びをプロが隣でしてくれること。 想像するだけで今のスキルを飛び越えた経験値が身につくのが分かりますね。 今の自分のスキルを確認するためにも、人に見てもらう、自分の動画を撮ってもらう、自分のライディングを確認する。 とても大切なことです。 自分がイメージしている自分の波乗りのシーン。 それは実際とどれくらい近いか遠いか。 ぜひ沖縄で苦手分野を克服してくださいネ🙌 If you only charge into big waves, you’ll inevitably hesitate at the moment of takeoff.
