突如大人の身長を超える波の大きさが現れる時があります。
その波を逃さずキャッチできるかがサーフィンの楽しいところです。
ときに、タイミングが合わないときは見送らなくてはいけないので波を交わすスキルも必要となります。
サンセットサーフィンはとても気持ちが良く、穏やかに見える海でも
いきなり大きな波が来ることも特徴の一つです。
波が大きい分、パドリングで体力を使ってしまいますが
上手く乗れたときの達成感は最高に気持ちがいいものです。

Waves have a period, and even when the water surface is perfectly flat and there’s no sign of waves,
suddenly, waves taller than an adult can appear.
The fun of surfing lies in being able to catch those waves without missing them.
Sometimes, you have to let them go if the timing isn’t right, so the skill of avoiding waves is also necessary.
Sunset surfing is very refreshing, and even in calm-looking seas, the sudden appearance of large waves is one of its characteristics.
While the large waves require more energy to paddle, the sense of accomplishment when you successfully ride them is incredibly rewarding.
