ショートボードはかっこいい、ロングボードはテイクオフが簡単だ。 色々な見方のできるサーフィン。 私たちがサーフィンに携わる仕事をしていて１番多かったのはこの意見でした。 ショートボードは乗るのが難しくて、ロングボードは簡単なんですよね? 答えはいたってシンプルでしたが、言葉で伝えることがとても難しかったみなさんの意見。 サーフィンに答えはなく、考え方も色々あっていいと思います。 ただ一つ言えること、それはどんなボードに乗っていても『簡単』という答えは決してないこと。 サーフィンは常に美しさと隣合わせの存在かと思います。 どのボードに乗っていても人それぞれのスタイルがあって美しい。 どのボードも楽しみ方がある。 そんなサーフィンの世界をもっとみなさんに知っていただきたいし、 もっと色々なボードに乗って波と融合してほしい。 沖縄でのサーフィン中、リーフブレイクのこと、サーフボードのこと、色々なことをお話しながら楽しみましょう♪ Shortboards are cool, longboards are easy to take off on. Surfing can be viewed in many ways. This was the most common opinion we heard while working in the surfing industry. Shortboards are difficult to ride, and longboards are easy, right? The answer was quite simple, but it was very difficult to put everyone’s opinions into words. There is no single answer in surfing, and I think it’s fine to have many different ways of thinking. However, one thing I can say is that no matter what board you ride, there is never an answer that is “easy.” Surfing is always something that is intertwined with beauty. No matter what board you ride, each person has their own style, and that is beautiful. There is a way to enjoy every board. I want everyone to know more about this world of surfing, and I want you to ride many different boards and become one with the waves.
